Captain Jack grew up fishing Montauk, NY when he was a child and has been boat fishing this area since he was 15. He bought his first boat at age 25 and fished mostly for Stripers and Porgies. He credits this early fishing for these particular species to his successes as a Striper Fisherman and for learning how to become a charter boat captain making a living catching fish.
He still enjoys catching Stripers the most but now, on his fourth boat (Windy), ventures much farther off shore in search of Sharks, Tuna, and Marlin.
